I purchased the Kodak i40 scanner after the recommendation of a friend. I sourced the supplier on the Web.
I found it very easy to set up, which is a surprise to someone like me who knows nothing about hardware.
It is a dream to use, extremely fast and very reliable.
I am about to purchase a second and have no hesitation in purchasing the same model again

We have found the Kodak i40 extremely good. It is fast and we particularly like the fact that it reads both sides of the document with only one pass. The auto straighten feature also means that our scanned in documents are well presented when retrieved.

Not having used a stand alone scanner before I did not really know what to expect.
I can honestly say that I have been somewhat impressed by this little machine. Very fast and clear imaging with easy output to tiff or PDF files. The gereral operation could not be simpler with "one touch button" operation. Setup took a little while but not overly difficult.

We now have three of these scanners within our business.
They are excellent value for money and very fast and efficient. Since our attempt to become a paperless office began last year, we have already scanned tens of thousands of documents we had in paper form. The scanner is remarkably small and unobtrusive yet we can scan up to about 30 sheets per minute. The worst job is removing all the staples first!
After about 9 months of fairly heavy use, they are still working well and we’ve created masses of extra office space by getting rid of the old filing cabinets! Certainly a worthwhile investment.

I’m pleased to confirm that we are very pleased with our Kodak i40 scanner and are putting it to very good use. It’s quick and the imaging on screen is of an excellent quality.
The only drawback so far is that the ADF Pad seems to wear out quite quickly (after around 15,000 pages)
I would rate the scanner as a 5 (excellent) for the job we have which is scanning client files onto the computer database.

I am very pleased with the Kodak i40, it scans quickly and efficiently. It has a habit of getting stuck if you put in too many pages at once though! It also doesn’t really like the pages that have come off my laser printer as the pages are a tiny bit curled with the heat, but a bit of wiggling about usually sorts that out. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone. I would give it a rating of 4

We are a small legal office. Impressed with Kodak i40 scanner which does the job pretty well for the money, and now have two.
Very occasionally papers misfeed.. So generally we scan 30 rather than 50 at a time. Good scanning speed. Rating 4/5.

Kodak i40 feedback. This is a very compact and sturdy unit. Installation was trouble free and in use the machine is very quick and accurate with crisp images even at relatively low dpi’s. If it has a downside it is that it doesn’t like coated papers unless they are fed individually. It would have also been useful if it was networkable. Otherwise a really great buy. We quite like Tradescanners as well !!
